The Twin Cities Puppeteers is a chartered Guild of the Puppeteers of America, a national organization that has been devoted to the promotion of puppetry since 1937, just a little longer than the Twin Cities group.

TCP members are encouraged to join the Puppeteers of America and enjoy all the benefits, not the least of which is the opportunity to meet and get to know other puppeteers from all over the country.

Though we meet in a Methodist Church, (and of course think highly of the Methodists), the guild is not a church-sponsored organization, and not affiliated (as an organization) with any religious denomination.

The people who run the organization are all volunteers. Dues collected are used to pay newsletter, program, and special project expenses.
