...the monthly newsletter of the Twin Cities Puppeteers.
It's sent to all current members, a few guests, some of the other guilds around the country, and officers of the Puppeteers of America.
Members receive the newsletter during the week prior to the meeting.

The Monitor includes

  • information about the upcoming program meeting
  • minutes from the last meeting (by secretary Steve Mark)
  • news about members and what's happening in the world of puppetry
  • occasional member profile pieces (by Karen Backes)
  • special articles--technical, historical, observational.
  • pictures

Newsletters are sent out January through June, and then September through November.(Summertime, members receive a picnic notice; Christmas, invitation to a Holiday Party.)

The Monitor now is sent out electronically to most members. If you have email/internet access, Karen Backes will add you to a list, and when the current online issue is ready she will send an email to everyone on her list; her message will include a link to the current issue. Just click on the link to bring up the page on your browser.

The Monitor Online is slightly different from the web site -- Monitor Online contains information of interest mostly to our local members; the web site, on the other hand, may be accessed by anyone in the world.

Paper printouts are mailed to a few members who don't do e-mail.

The current editor is Paul Eide.
