As a permanent puppet theater, and an agent of positive social change, In the Heart of the Beast has been the pride of Minneapolis for about 30 years. "Beneath the Surface" is their show devoted to water – how we use it, misuse it, and how we can do better. Coming up: Soon the theater will be filled with hundreds of volunteers building masks, puppets, costumes and floats for the annual May Day Parade.
